This is the blog…feel free to rummage around a bit.
Disclaimer
Everything written here was written for me, myself... not you. I love you and all, but I need this for myself. All the preachy stuff is reminders for myself, similar to Marcus Aurelius's Mediations. And all the random stuff, well... that is just me getting thoughts out or venting. Nothing in this blog is directed at you, but I welcome you to read it and learn what you can from it.
Here is a search bar for the blog. I put it here in case for some reason you have been here before, read something that blew your mind, and came back to read it again to have your mind blown a second time, but you couldn’t find the thing you read the first time.
You’re welcome.

Dear Marvel…

Stop Soliciting Advice.
We are all guilty of it. You see something that doesn't align with what you believe, or what you want to believe, and you just can't help yourself. You don't even think about it, it is just so natural that it slips out like you just had a double dose of verbal Ex-lax.
The Best Parenting Advice.
“The hardest part about being a good parent is being the person you want them to be.”
I Know, But…
Nothing you say before the word “but” matters. Ned Stark said a variation of this phrase. Darrell Rogers said yet another version of it. I am certain that many smart people over the years have come up with a similar belief. I may not be a smart people, but I too believe in this.
I Should Probably Tell You…
I have a terrible secret that I am going to fill you in on…

Talking and Listening.
Talking with your life partner is important. Listening to your life partner is equally important. Reviewing the conversation after the fact and distilling what you have learned is also just as important. Applying what you have learned is, you guessed it, just as important.
Training is Not Practice.
Training and practice are two completely different things.
Get Out of Your Way.
Is there something you want from life, yet no matter what you do it seems to elude you? You can blame whatever you want to, but the truth is, you are probably standing in your own way.

How many words can you remove from a story, and still have the same story?
Choose Your Battles Wisely.
Have you ever heard "Work on your strengths, not your weaknesses" or a similar phrase? If you are like me you have heard many phrases like this. They hold within them oceans of wisdom, and yet you are doing something in your life that contradicts them.
Coincidence? I think not.
Have you ever coincidentally noticed something soon after you discussed, read about, or otherwise noticed that same thing?
Phone Keyboard
So this will seem silly to some, and revolutionary to others. I am typing this whole post on my phone, using a keyboard.
